How can I use my blocked iPhone 3GS?
Hi,
I have a blocked iPhone 3GS which I reported stolen, it was blocked but I was never entitled to a replacement, I then found it and it was still blocked. Is there anyway I can use an app which sends texts and calls through bluetooth through my other phone so I can use the iPhone to call and text but uses the other phones network?
Or if anybody wants to swap a 16gb white 3gs blocked in the UK?
Thanks
P.s. wrong thread sorry

You should be able to contact the carrier as the person who reported it stolen and report it found -- and they should (eventually) be able to remove the IMEI blacklist and let you use the phone again. If you've got no luck there (or are not the person who reported it stolen), the only real option would be to proceed with a swap (take a peek in the flea market section, you'll see a few people asking similar questions).
I've not heard of any program that would allow your secondary iPhone to effectively act as a handset for your IMEI blocked device, I'm not certain it would be possible. While the iPhone can act as a bluetooth host, I don't think it's configured in such a way that two iPhones can connect via bluetooth, much less transmit the data in that manner.
In any case, good luck!

In the UK, only the person who requested the blacklist of the phone is authorised to remove it. That is likely someone at your carrier - so as n1ckn4m3 said - talk to them.
We are trying to discourage swaps of IMEI blocked devices. Your case is a rare one where you have not done anything wrong but have an IMEI blocked phone. 90% of the time there is some illegal activity as the reason for the IMEI block. Anything illegal is not allowed to be discussed here.
