Default Hmmm.. Should I stay or should I go?

I am very, Convinced in Jailbreaking my 3Gs 8Gb.

Okay I got an iPod Touch 8Gb last year, And the warranty just ran out, So I was thinking of jailbreaking it and what do you know my birthday came and I got a 3Gs and already considering jailbreaking it. The problem is, I don't know whether I should. Its basically brand new, My mum got one off ebay, Used, My mum didn't like it so she gave it me for my birthday. It has a faulty silent switch so I took it to the apple store and they gave me a brand new one like they do

Now because it's brand new I'm kind of concerned on what problems I will face when jailbreaking, I just got all my music and apps sorted in folders that took me all night I don't know what I will or won't be able to do after jailbreaking, Basically, Can I do everything what I can do now and a little bit more. Can I turn mobile data off when me free internet runs out and can I get updates from the app store when and as they come out.

Also if it is jailbroken and I lose it, Is it easier to get into it even though I have a passcode?

Thanks guys (And girls), I just don't want you thinking "Just f**king jailbreak it you pussy and google the answers".

    (P.S: I'm running 4.2.1, But I heard I can do a tethered jailbreak with redsn0w)

You can now untethered jailbreak all devices running 4.2.1 with greenpois0n or pwnagetool 4.2

If someone found your phone, they could always jailbreak it themselves to get past the passcode requirement. So I wouldn't use that as a justification for not jailbreaking.

You will only experience problems if you want to unlock. The jailbreak should be pain-free.

Essentially, it's your personal decision whether to jailbreak or not. If you ever think you *might* want to jailbreak, be sure to use TinyUmbrella to save your SHSH for 4.2.1 now. By saving your 4.2.1 SHSH now you can always CHOOSE to jailbreak in the future.
