Error code (10), unable to restore Iphone, logs inside. Please help.
Hi guy's, to cut it short. I restored my iphone on 4.0.1 with no problems with a 06.15.00 baseband using redsn0w. I managed to jailbreak and unlock the phone to the point where i could use 3g and it recognized my sim card but the problem i had was no signal bars to txt and phone people.
After doing a bit of reading I was recommended to upgrade to 5.0. or 5.0.1. So I did the create custom IPSW, and this is where it all went wrong. It failed and the phone bricked. I tried several times and even tried snowbreeze with no luck. I updated my itunes to 18.104.22.168 to see if the latest version would help but no luck. The error code 10 is when I was trying to update to the 5.0 or 5.0.1. I then decided to try and restore back to the 4.0.1 just to at least get my iphone back on to use apps etc but then I got the 1015 error which I used i-REB to fix. This fix only got my iphone into a state of being able to phone emergency services with no access to anything else.
I am trying this on Windows XP SP2. I have tried running as administrator but no luck. Now redsn0w even crashes when I try to do it for some reason. I will note that I was in a PWN DFU mode as I know some people have mentioned that standard DFU won't suffice.
Below is a link representing my error log, as well as the coding for the host file.
Any help you guys can offer me in being able to restore my iphone and get it up and running again is greatly appreciated.
