    Default Disable SMS Delivery Report

Hi, everytime I send a SMS message I receive an automatic reply from my carrier saying something like "SMS to XXXXXXXX delivered (00:00 DD/DD/DD)". I know that in "normal" mobile phones (I.E. phones where you have WAYS to configure things) you can just turn the "delivery report" off and this message dissapears, but how Do I do that on my 3GS?

    This might work

    1. Jailbreak
    2. Open Cydia
    3. Add source : Index of /cydia
    4. Install iPhoneDelivery (search it in Cydia)
    5. Reboot iPhone
    6. Go into Settings -> Messages and hopefully delivery report will be activated. Deactivate this and you should be fine. Otherwise try toggling this setting.

    It wasnt

I tried enabling and disabling the report but I still get this automatic message everytime I send and SMS. Looks like its sent automatically by my carrier just to try to piss their users off :/

But thanks anyway, at least now I have a way to prove that's not my mobile fault lol

Are you on an official carrier? I would be talking to your carrier about this.

Yes, Im using VIVO here in Brazil. Funny thing is that this "sms report" came from nonwhere, so Im pretty much sure its something that must be disabled from their side. Anyway, thanks for your help
