    Default Can jailbreaking stop data?

I just upgraded from my 2G, but I didn't have a plan to go with it so I'm not certain.

I jailbroke my newer model, and I have no problem with it being tethered, but, can it being jailbroken affect my data connection? I can't access anything on my phone unless I'm wifi. I had it working before but I have no idea why it stopped.

Probably you installed an IPCC or configured a data APN for the old phone and forgot to do that with the new one as well.

Jailbreaking has no effect on your data plan at all.
