HELP NEEDED! Hi guys, i have a 3GS Old bootrom and updated to 5.0.1 using snowbreeze and the ipad basebad. the task completed sucessfully, the phone is recognized by itunes but apple logo and spinning wheel is stuck on the screen. tiny umbrella does show a 06.15.00 baseband. i tried rolling back to 4.3.3 custom firmware, my blobs are saved for 4.3.3, i tried using ibooty, i Reb, and all possible methods. nothing brings my phone back to life. any thoughts? right now it's on 4.3.3 06.15.00.

Update: So far I have tried the Procedure below:
Download latest redsn0w from http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/14857834236/untet....
Download tiny umbrella from http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/
Download stock iOS5.0.1 (use Mozilla) from http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fir....
Open tiny umbrella save all shsh, when done make sure "set host to cydia" under advanced tab is NOT CHECKED, close tiny and reboot pc.
Open redsn0w, go extra, custom ipsw, point redsn0w to downloaded ios 5.0.1 for your device.
When done you will have custom NO_BB 5.0.1 ipsw.
Plug iphone to pc, open redsn0w, go to extra, "pwned dfu", follow directions to put phone to pwned dfu.
Open itunes, dismiss all messages about restore, hold shift (option on Mac) and click restore, in newly opened window navigate to custom NO_BB iOS 5.0.1. Be very careful to choose custom NO_BB ipsw! Restore to it. Right after restore DO NOT RESTORE (sync )FROM BACK UP.

Everything works without a single error, but no matter what firmware i use ( via snowbreeze, redsnow, or custom downloaded firmware )
the phone completes the restore and comes back with the stuck apple logo. Itunes will recognize it's name, serial number, size, etc.

One thing that i found quite weird is that when the restore finishes and it restarts for the first time, there is a progress bar below the apple logo that should fill up by itself, but it ends half-way. then solid apple logo for 2 minutes, then spinning wheel forever.

Tiny umbrella shows baseband 06.15.00-6.4_M3S2 - is this what it should be? I ve tried after that to only Jailbreak with redsnow and only install ipad baseband using redsnow. actually i tried every procedure about 20times using 3 different computers. I am desperate, i think i lost that one... i completely ran out of ideas. Someone could guess what the heck could have happened? Thank u much

all right guys, nobody was kind enough to even reply, but anyways i am kind enough to come back and report my fix. The problem was NOT software related. cable #3 ( speaker and light sensor was not properly attached and that causes the apple logo stuck. it was too weird that itunes was even syncing with the phone ( i mean, photos, music, etc ) and the phone was not displaying anything but the logo. Weird, but true.

Glad you came back to tell us. I reviewed your post but I had absolutely no suggestions for you so I refrained from replying (I hate replying "Don't know what to tell you!"). Thanks for letting us know what the issue was.
