Hey guys... i have a 3gs 3.1.1 and its compleatly blocked i can only do emergency calls and it displays an image which tells me to connect to itunes...
when i do that it says that the inserted sim is not supported...
what do i have to do??
i suppose unlock it??
but how do i do that from windows??
i have searched and searched but the tutorials dont exactly matchup...
what should i do..
how do i unlock so that i have access to the phone.
PS:i dont have any other sim...

There are no jailbreaks for a 3GS running stock 3.1.3 or higher that work without access to a SIM card that can get you past the "slide for emergency" screen.

You need to purchase a phonebook/n in 1 sim card (these are common on ebay) to get past that screen then use either Spirit or jailbreakme to jailbreak and finally install ultrasn0w to unlock.

Also.. just to be clear. If you have upgraded to 4.1 and then downgraded again, there is no way to unlock.
