Adventure iPhone stuck in recovery, need help!
Hi,
I tried almost everything to get my 3gs to work again, but it's still stuck in recovery.
I got it from a friend of me, and we don't know wich iOS there's installed. If I try to restore trough iTunes, the only builds I can use are 4.3.3 or later. Then I will get a 1604 error. If I use older ones, i get "Device not eligible for this build" etc etc.
iRecovery says this:
Code:
***********:~ ***********$ /Users/*********/iRecovery -s
iRecovery - Recovery Utility for 0x1281 and WTF.

When I try to boot DFU and start iRecoverry, it won't find my iPhone.
I tried, Windows too, with iReb, to bypass 1604 error. Doesn't work either.
When I use Redsn0w, I can upload the stuff and see the picture "downloading jb data" and after the first reboot it gets to text based booting and then gets stuck to "AppleBCMWLAN" and the thousands of "please wait..." messages before another reboot into recovery.

This is a hardware issue, the primary storage chip (NAND) which holds the OS and your apps/music is not responding when the phone attempts to boot/restore. Ther eis no software fix for this issue.
A quick search would have found there are already a couple of pretty similar threads here on hackint0sh http://www.hackint0sh.org/f203/249802.htm http://www.hackint0sh.org/f203/185791.htm
