I bought an iPhone 3GS with no-contract at an apple store. Took it back to Venezuela. I connected it to iTunes, it didn't ask for anything and I start configuring it right away, then the message "Your activation requires additional time to complete" appears. After a while the phone when to sleep, when I woke it the message disappear.

It has an ATT sim card on, but obviously I don't have a signal.

Rebooted it and the message is back again.

I need to unlock it so I can use my digitel sim card.

If I use redsn0w and ultrasn0w will I be able to receive push notificatios?

If, when you run redsn0w, you keep your AT&T SIM in and then unlock and switch to the SIM you want to use in Venezuela than yes, PUSH will work.

I jailbreak before reading your post.

I use reds0w and ultrasn0w with my DIGITEL sim card, not the AT&T and the push is working. I'll keep testing and post updates later.
