3GS remains frozen on apple logo screen
I have been reading forums and stuff from the last 5 hours and nothing became clear to me. I bought iphone on an auction on Ebay running FW 4.3.4 , BB 05.16.02 everything was okay until i tried to install some theme on it , i downloaded it, and the phone rebooted it self after the install, the apple logo came in and it wont continue to the OS.
Can someone please tell me what steps to follow so i can end this nightmare
The Iphone was unlocked and jailbroken when i got it, should i restore it via itunes (when i get into recovery mode, itunes recognizes the phone) , or that will affect the baseband softwere somehow.
Please help me i am really new to this.

4.3.4 is limited to tethered jailbreak. You need to use redsn0w 0.9.6 release candidate 19 windows or mac - when redsn0w asks for an IPSW - browse to a iPhone2,1_4.3.1_8G4_Restore.ipsw downloaded from here: http://www.hackint0sh.org/f127/22056.htm and select "just boot tethered for now"
This is 100% normal for a jailbroken 4.3.4 or higher new bootrom 3GS.

Patience is always a good thing when it comes to jailbreaking. Learning how to search is useful also.
We've discussed over and over again how to "hacktivate" and also tricking iTunes into legitimate activation via SAM. Both techniques require jailbreak (so you are still limited to a tethered jailbreak)
Search, there are existing threads explaining this.
