3GS Overheating - myth or fact??
I was going to buy a 3GS White iphone however notice in the news a big fuss about the white version discoloring to brown due to it overheating!
Is this a rare case/myth?
Anybody any personal experiences of this happening or NOT happening?
Cheers!

Mine discolored beneath the screen... That one was no myth.
Apple says that it was a short on the USB -> Dock Connector cable though... maybe, maybe not.
Either way, new iPhone for me, and now I need to go through that garbage of repulling everything so that I can jailbreak going forward.

Cheers for your reply Adrian. Sorry to hear that about your new phone!
I guess yours was a white one??? I guess for a safe bet it would be better to go for black??

Ive had mine since launch, no discolorations yet and it does get pretty warm during games and such. I have an invisible shield on mine though so maybe I just dont notice >.< slight changes in color

Seems to be the odd few then!
So hows the battery life over previous models? Same or a noticeable difference??
