I will sue them for copyright infringement.

Great now they are flooding my site....

Ok, at least they added some credits to my site, but still they are using unauthorized content from my blog for their business...

And for the record, they are not chinese as you may think, they are french.

And how do you call selling something that doesn't work and claim that it will unlock the new iPhone 3G ?

    I call it SCAM.

How many has it been working for?
And does it work constantly? I mean will it work this minute but not next?

It works fine for me.. but you cant roam on other carriers towers with it... it stays locked to one carrier and if you try to change that (manual carrier) then you will have to put your sim in an unlocked phone (any phone) to reset your sim for that one carrier..

They have DHL'd me a free unit so will be able to test in the next few days.

If it was a 'scam' as you claim, I hardly think they would A) send me a free unit, B) DHL it to me, free.

You should stay polite, I'm not your mummy.

They ripped off content that I spent several hours to write, and are using it to sell their sim crap that do not work half of the time. You should read posts from dev team and see what they think about it before calling me idiot.

I am not directly commenting on the usage of skr3dii's BLOG without credit - but it certainly was a bad thing to do.

What I do want to add, is that I have had some contact with Cristophe, and although he hasn't really given me any details about the chip, he certainly did respond to me. He was even honest in reporting that they were having some problems with a Spanish carrier that they were trying to solve. He also sent me a sample and other assorted equipment (punch, reader, etc.) via DHL from Hong Kong to London as he promised, free of charge.

I don't know if the chip works, but what I was clear on is these guys have many years of experience in unlocking phones as I was pointed to several websites showing unlockers that are used for most of commercial phones available. Their chip is also available for OEM sales so it may be rebranded by anyone who buys it.

Personally, I don't have enough knowledge in this field to know whether it is technically feasible to make the iPhone work with a solution like this. Furthermore, I bought an unlocked phone because I didn't want to wait. I have no affiliation with YESSIM or anyone else in this business or any other in relation to phones. I simply wanted to report these facts to the forum. If possible I will try and do some testing with YESSIM with my friend's AT&T phone here in the UK.

It would be nice to have an interim solution while we all root for the dev team to work their magic. Of course these guys are trying to make money, but if their solution works - that's good for the community. If not - well too bad. It does appear (to me) that they genuinely trying to make this work. It would be nice if they could post some details to explain this rather than vague posts without any information.
