I've been hearing rumors that WiMax is coming to my country. So, I'm curious. Would WiMax work on an iPhone or iPod Touch ?

No. WiMAX is a separate technology. WiMAX vendors are desperate for phone vendors to roll out models. In any case only the newer version of WiMAX support mobile communications.

actully there are few models of nokia coming to the market that will support WiMax if you are intereted. but since this technology is new those models will be very expensive... i do have WiMax at home and using normal router.. which to have Mobile WiMax though
