after countless problems, im down to my last and final problem with this iphone (i believe) google has helped me on the other problems, but not this one. so the wifi isnt working. at first i thought it was only the wifi BUT i managed to unlock it without wifi but now it stays on ''searching...'' as in the service for my carrier. i believe its a hardware problem but i just want to make sure. i believe i have a system log here. i hope someone can help me out with my problem.

There's nothing in that log that says it's a known hardware problem. It could be the connection to the antenna. Your wifi chip appears to be identified and enabled properly.

Do you have OpenSSH and sbsettings installed?

cant install anything without wifi, but i do have the ipad baseband but i dont think wifi worked even before i did it

ive restored it countless times, is there anything i should do?

would it matter if i used custom firmware 4.0?

That log isn't very useful. You have baseband 6.15 - read http://www.hackint0sh.org/f204/196391.htm for details on how to restore your OS when you have that baseband.

To answer your previous question. If you restore custom IPSW for 4.0 then you don't need a SHSH for 4.0
