why buy iphone and terminate ATT svc if you can't use the phone with other providers?

if there is a way, i am all ready to buy an iphone and use it on TMobile. ATT contract is way too expensive.

dude.. where have you been living??? have you read anything around this forum?!?! many people managed to unlock it through the hardware sim method. works perfect. i have a 3g and it works amazing with t-mobile. i can update the phone and it still works fine. i don't have to worry about any updated for quickpwn. all i use quickpwn is to jailbreak the phone and install the tzones hack ($5.99) since i am too cheap to pay for the total internet plan ($20)

i just saw two sticky posts on modmyphone.com forum, and this forum also that says that 3G phone has not yet been unlocked. started scratching my head after i read it. and clearly there seems to be a solution that you have discovered

so can you share what might be the cheapest way to snag an iphone? there appears to be reasonable confusion around that too.

re the extra unlock card. i could well buy one from you. but i need to get a phone first

there's another way to get t-zones working without the whole proxy.pac thing (the hack you download). just put in epc.tmobile.com for the apn and guest for the username. nothing installed, no hacking!
