[US iPhone 3G][AT&T Contract]When to cancel contract?
I bought some 3G iPhones and of course, the reception is terrible in my office... :p
My question: for those who signed the 2-year contract -when is the right time to call in and cancel the service?
Does it matter? Or does it need to be on or after day-30?
And lastly, should I use some minutes by making a few calls here and there? As to not make it obvious the iPhones were purchased for resell and no intent of ever using AT&T.

The day before whatever your billing day of the month is (you can find it on that 3 page printout they gave you.)

do we need to return the phone when we cancel the contract after 30days..it bother me a lot.... the bestbuy said we must return the phone, no matter when we cancel....

If you signed up for an ATT contract, Best Buy has absolutely nothing to do with it. You call the ATT number on their website and deal with them. Call them on the 30th day and tell them you want to cancel. They will say "You know their is a penalty, right?" You say yes, and they say ok. That's it.

ok. so i opened my account on august 24. my first bill was on september 2nd.
my 30th day would be on september 24. should i cancel on sept 24, or should i wait till october 1st and cancel then?

Look at your bill, top right, it will have a number for the date of which your bill cycle starts. Take that number, subtract one, and thats the day you call. So if your bill cycle starts on the 24th, call on the 23rd.

bestbuy also said that to me, and that just don't make sense, can someone confirm this? I called and the girl doesn't seem she know what's she talking about.
