    Default Updating to 2.2 question

    Hello,

I'm on O2 so don't require an unlock but like a lot of what Cydia/installer has provided so have those on my phone. They were in the custom 2.1 update.

IF I upgrade to 2.2 using the official update, will that mess up my phone or should I pwn it using the custom update?

The baseband update doesn't bother me as I'm on O2 anyway.

u will have to make a custom 2.2 ipsw file so you can install all your cydia/installer apps again. Im a mac user so idk if quickpwn for win allows u to jailbreak on the fly.You could try tho. Update to stock 2.2 ipsw and then run quickpwn to jailbreak. If you restore your iphone with an apple stock ipsw you will end up with a non jailbroken phone.
