    Post unlocking iphone 3g

    hi mates one o my frnd bought me a iphone for 10,000INR which is around 210$..it's USA piece...n obviously it's locked...is there a way to unlock my iphone...i heard of something called sim adapter....ll it work on ma phone as it is not activated...! if it works then 4m where am i supposed to buy it..? i live in Chennai,India

    Only hardware unlock works... yes, i have tried a turbosim and it works ok now..
    I'm sure your phone shop in chennai have some sim adapter solutions... otherwise buy from the Internet...

    thanx 4 replyin mate.....u said i can unlock it using turbosim..but i haven't activated...so my question is do i have to activate my iphone b4 inserting the turbo sim...
    4m which site can i buy the working sim adapter..

    look for quick pwn to activate and find out about the turbo sim to unlock

    Not sure about activating it... but I just insert the turbosim and it works! FYI - I have jaibreak it first before inserting the turbosim... ;-)

    Check out the "Quick Pwn" download the latest quick pwn software. After that your friend's iphone 3g will break free (jailbroken). Then, go to internet...i believe in India they do have ebay . Check it and buy some sim unlock. (remember to read over the "turbo sim,sim unlock solution" in the bottom of the forum. Make sure you buy the most stable sim unlock. Or you can wait for dev team to release their very first unlock tool for iphone 3g (yeah! good job dev team.). Good luck.
