    Default Unable to join wifi

    Hi,

I have unlocked jailbreaked iphone 3G 3.1.2 software and i have a problem.
2 weeks ago I've installed OS 4.0, and after a week wifi stopped working.

when I'm trying to connect to wifi my iPhone finds network but then the error pops up : unable to join xxxxx

This is what I've tryed to fix in a past week:

    - restore to 3.1.3 & 3.1.2
    - reset network connection
    - reset all settings
    - wifi off, push off, airplane on for 5 min and then wifi on
    - reset rooter
    - try various rooters
    - rooter security off

and still it's unable to join...

    Can you please help me...
The guy on our iphone servis said that I should clean some things via Terminal but he didn't want to tell me the codes (not for free of course)

thank you in advance and excuse me for my English (not from arround) Smile

Need more details - did you ever use blacksn0w unlock? DO you have a syslog of startup or attempting to join a network?

Don't bump a thread every day - that is a sure way to annoy the people who might help you.

Ok I am sorry...I am not gonna bump a thread anymore...

I have never used blacksn0w. My iPhone is unlocked for all carriers.

˝DO you have a syslog of startup or attempting to join a network?˝
This is what I don't underastand, but I can tell you that i can see the wireless networks, but when I'm trying to connect the error pops out unable to join xxxx.

I've also made a clean restore (set up as new iPhone)

    Thanks for answers..

I would try and get your iPhone replaced under warranty. If you have never used blacksn0w and have this problem it is possible it could be a hardware issue.
