so I had the first release of openiboot alongside my 2.2.1, and I wasnt able to uninstall it because the uninstall command didnt work back then, so I left it there.
However, when I updated to 3.0 I forgot to get rid of it, and now Im stuck with this in my itunes update log, no matter how I do, dfu or not, I ended up with a white brick.

PROBLEM SOLVED, I HAD TO SHUT DOWN ZONEALARM AND LET ITUNES DO ITS STUFF BY JUST HITTING RESTORE AND LETTING IT RESTORE AND UPDATE.
