Default T-Mobile Web Plan not working on my iPhone 3g

Ok so im seriously getting annoyed now. I recently switched my plan to include unlimited web for an extra 20 or so a month and it is not working. Safari keeps sending me to a web2go website saying that the plan is incompatible with my device and i need to upgrade the plan.

My beef here is when i go to change my plan or service, i cant select iphone as my phone. does this affect why the web isnt working for me? I tried every single apn and no luck. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO MAKE THIS SHIT WORK

Considering t-mobile is not an officially supported carrier - it's not a surprise the don't have iPhone as an option in their online tools.

    Solution:
    Install UIFaker and SBSettings

then activate and configure it via SBSettings

Web2Go is the default browser thingy for T-Mobile. I saw once on T-Mobiles support somewhere that you have to put a code somewhere in the iPhone. Also, it costs extra to have unlimited web compared to unlimited web for a smartphone. Make sure you tell them it's a smartphone.

EDIT: Try this link off the T-Mobile site and let me know. http://forums.t-mobile.com/t5/Non-T-...red/m-p/119536

    Good Luck,

P.S. I'm turning my internet back on my phone today so let me know if you get this resolved, THANKS!
