    Default Strange thing has happened...

    I had a jailbroken phone, 2.0.1, iPhone 3G.

    I decided to update to 2.0.2 as I didn't really use much of the stuff I got out of jailbreaking.

    After i have updated it... my custom carrier name is still there.

    LOL. It says Rooster as my carrier on legit software.

    I will upload a screenshot in my signature so that it is there forever more...

    I've seen this b4

    Also changes made by apps like ericas MIM survive the update process as well

    has anyone got any idea how this could have happened? I am quite interested to know why, just, ya know, in general

    Yea it is strange

    If you want to revert it try looking in System/Library/Carrier.bundles/YourCarrier/ and you should see a default carrier png file that you can play around with to change the logo.
