Hello... Happy to see an unlock being released to iphone 3g...


I wish to buy an iphone 3g in US. I know they give it on a contract basis.....

But I am willing to pay the cost of the phone as well as the contract cancellation fee....

But I am unsure about the steps I should follow..

It would be great if someone expalins me what to do....How are people on ebay getting phones without a contract

For $600....

Just buy it, sign the contract, then cancel it. If your willing to pay the ETF, you have no problems.

also to buy it you will need

U.S. Credit Card
U.S. Social Security Number
U.s. Goverment Issued I.D.

so if you dont have those things .. its a no go...

well dude I got an iPhone 8gb for sale. I am also in India if you want I can give it to u. plz contact or reply here.

but it towards the end of a month... like 27-29. Wait 30 days, call to cancel. They will tell you they cant cancel until the next billing period which starts on 2 or 3rd i think. Your phone will stop working on 2nd or 3rd of the month. One week later you will receive a bill with activation fee, monthly cost, and etf.

If you want to reduce the fees a little bit, after you buy the phone, wait a day or so and call att. tell them you decided to return the phone so you want to take the data plan off and continue using your old phone. They will ask you for the imei number of the phone that you will be using so make sure you have GSM phone ready to give them the imei number. That should save you about 30 bucks.

You could get a pay & go one from the uk,(no contract required)

for the price of $600 to 700, better buy the offical unlock phone on ebay.

it just cost me $494 +tax to cancel my ATT contract within 30 days and keep a 3G iPhone 8gig bought from an ATT USA store.

After yellowsn0w, it is working on Tmobile USA for $40 less per month than ATT. That pays for the phone in 1 year.
