Some problems with iphone 3g
Hello, I have a iphone 3g with several problems, since I opened the casing to fix, but now dont detect sim card, they wanted to clean it with compressed air as used for electronic devices pcs i dont know if that will be little affected.
i tried to restore the phone but shoot an error: "the iphone could not be restored unknown error 20" and now the phone is tilted on the screen of dfu mode and restore will not let me more, always throw the same error from itunes
that way I can fix this?
1) There should be no problem cleaning the phone with compressed air, but the SIM receptacle is extremely sensitive. If you've taken the device apart and put it back together and are now getting 'No SIM', it's possible you could have damaged the contacts. Take a minute and make sure it's all put together right and tight.
2) Error 20 is usually a recoverable error. Upgrade your iTunes to 9.0. Manually download 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 and either Shift-Restore or Option-Restore to get the phone going. I don't recommend setting up as a restore from your previous backup, especially if you were having trouble. You may have to try this more than once in order for it to complete successfully. You do not need to be in DFU or Restore mode for this to work, but it should work in any case.
