    Default [Solved] Help !! camera not working > Owner Permissions

    Hello,

    I jailbreak my phone. But the original camera is not working. I can snap photos as usual , but when I open the photos library , all the photos I took appears in grey . When i click on it , it shows nothing. Please help .

    If you have OpenSSH installed use WinSCP (Windows) or Cyberduck (Mac) and goto
    /private/var/mobile/Media/
    Delete the folder DCIM in there. Attn: It contains all the photos you had taken before so better backup the folder to your PC before deleting it on the iPhone.
    Restrt the iPhone then and try again. Sometimes it is just a owner/permissions thing and this is the easies way to solve. Next time you take a photo, the folder is created gain.

    Thanks !! It works !! Just asking , since you said the file will be created again , if the problem comes back I should just delete the same file ? Thanks again .

    Gald it works for you. probably the problem wont come back. maybe just a file got screwed up. But just in case, you can always delete the folder.
