well what happened to each store that sold n95 ( with gps )....mmm..... nothing !!! they took all the mobiles from it and that was all ..... in my opinion i don't think it is a big deal

Why not think about something simpler? I remember this happening after a carrier update, which is a file located in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Carrier Support

If we are able to edit that, there is a small window of opportunity that the GPS will be reactivated.

Well the check is.not done by maps IMHO coz I tried other GPS apps and still it was not working.
I dumped most of my iPhone root today, will try to upload it somewhere 2morrow when I get on my pc (I'm actually on the iphone now LOL)

There is no way to track a GPS device in use. GPS does not transmit data, it only receives.

All I'm saying is that there is no way anyone can know that you've reactivated the gps

I have a lot of experience with windows platform, unfortunately I even cannot read the Apple binary files on a good way on my windows so could you advise which tools should I use to edit the pist files and which tools on windows platform I use for the BIN files ?

pledit to edit plists in windows

fed(file edit) to edit binary files

if u want them send me ur email and ill email them to u
