anyone knows how to install egypt maps with traffic info and routing , it's great havin my phone pinpoint my position but i need to get the gps working if u know wht i mean . If anyone knows anything plz share it thx all

i used the patch befor and it was working perfectly but now i have a Banned gps on my iphone with the 2.2.1 firmware (old baseband 2.28.00) i tried to repatch but still not working any help will be appreciated

2.2.1 probably got a new locationd that needs to be patched again to make GPS work.

some apps require the update, any way i tried to downgrade to 2.2 the process succeeded, repatch locationd but gps still not working (i noticed that tower triangle methode is not working either), can i upload the locationd file for you to check, this will be greatly appreciated.

+ BTW gps was banned with my old 2.2 after sync then
*i tried to reinstall 2.2 + repatch (gps not working)
*i tried 2.2.1 (2.28.00 baseband so i can downgrade to 2.2) = repatch (not working)

is it possible to get banned GPS for just sync or backup my iphone with itunes, this happened on the 2.2 firmware.

no it didn't happened with 2.2
just give it time till we have 2.3 insha'allh

just made a downgrade to 2.2 then i extracted LocationD before simcard inserted (noticed no location service for maps is available over wifi without

simcard) jailbreak and yellowsn0w working 3g network signal (once sim card inserted the location service "towers method" is working) then i extracted

LocationD again and compared both files with "Beyond Compare 3" hex compare (defrence not found) and noooooooooooo gps.

now i need someone to correct me if i'am wrong: i did not activate my iphone it is jailbroken yellowsn0wed phone i disabled internet connection during

downgrade so this LocationD file is not for egypt it should have working gps settings.

and yes insha'allah i hope we find a patch for the next firmware 2.3
