dont open or alter the file locationd.

I am pretty busy with my real life job, no time for a tutorial now. Maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow and write up something.

You should start getting lines of code output,
To view a full screen, double tap on the terminal screen to hide the keyboard
check that one of the lines has "CLDaemonModemModel::isItPatched?xxxxxxxxxx(): subscriber country 602 prohibits GPS"

if the line is "CLDaemonModemModel::isGPSProhibitedByNetwork(): subscriber country 602 prohibits GPS" then you need to re-install the patch

If you don't get any of the above output, where the iphone killed your application, you need to sign the file.

For signing, search CYDIA for ldid (that's LDID and not IDID or 1DID) and install it

    re-open terminal, type:
su root (should prompt you for password, type alpine, but be aware that the terminal hides what u type, so make sure u type the letters correctly)
    cd /usr/libexec/
    ldid -S locationd
    (make sure it's -S and not -s)
    ./locationd check what i told u above
    killall Terminal

    Now it should work
Remember GPS doesn't work indoors, try in street

Thx man thx man, it is working now.

    Much much appreciated......
Wishing you the best of luck in assisting other ppls.

Thanks guys for your great contribution.. Wish if I could be of any help
Hope to see other real GPS applications like those of Nokia..

3dawy: if you have mobileterminal installed on your iphone, open it and try the following:
    $su - root
    enter the root password
    #cd /usr/libexec
    #chmod 755 locationd
