It is in the deamon locationd, check the posts here. I am trying to figure out a way to bypass the check in there. Will take some time.

with TXT it is not clear and unreadable ,
I am downloading C++ language and will try to open with it.

I chose a bad solution for this issue
I installed the last iphone system before its launching in Egypt (2.0.2)
and THE GPS WORKED for me on a vodafone locked iphone
If we remove the location core update from the 2.2 , it may be better in our waiting for the best (the unlocking)

After you downgraded ur firmware to 2.0.2, can you please tell me your modem firmware version? (Go to settings -> general -> about -> Modem firmware)
It should be either 02.28.00 (more likely) or 02.08.01
PS: Please check your inbox, i sent you a private message on this forum
