Worked fine untill went to reboot and was stuck at apple logo.

Powered down and then tried to use redsn0w .9.5.5b and the 2_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw

Now my iphone 3G has 4.1 (8B117) 5.13.04 radio on it but isn't showing a phone icon and is acting like just an ipod. what gives?

And the phone will not power off... It just acts like it and then restarts.

also i believe it is in DFU mode and i cant seem to get it out.

the phone will also not connect to the wifi so i can't even check cydia...

I am stuck.. need help drastically

the only way to power the phone down is to hold home and the power at the same time for a few secs then the screen goes black.

I can see Cydia... I can see my wifi network in settings but it won't show that it connects when you close settings... what gives.. Please guys I really need my phone to work.

Try restoring to stock 4.02 or cook a custom FW with pwnage.

I'm a dork and redmondpie had it listed and i said.. well damn lets see how i can f things up today... LOL.. oh well..

I am now restoring stock and will just wait.. I just bought a iPhone 4 off of flee-bay for the wife she can just use mine for the time being. (Samsung Vibrant)

Ok final question.. Can you downgrad the bootloader from 05.09.. I know fuzzyband can't.. I heard somewhere about opening the phone up....

Yes, very experienced hardware hackers can physically remove and reprogram the baseband chip - with the end result of downgrading the baseband.

If you had bothered to do any searching on this forum, you would see that sn0wbreeze is not supported or recommended here.

I'm sorry to hear that you have got your phone into a bad state, as always we suggest you research thoroughly before taking any action and never trust redmondpie as a reputable source, they link to warez and report a lot of stuff that is not tested or true.
