    Just came back from Singapore and I can confirm that iPhone 3G officially unlocked is on sale in the airport for S$1650 for 16GB.

    Yep expensive...I saw them also in one of the electronic plazas on Orchard Road for S$1500.

    The main point is they are official unlock versions....

    Still waiting for a replacement LCD panel, screen and digitizer to repair mine. Couldnt find that in Singapore...

    but do they keep the unlock when you go to restore them?

    Yes they are fully unlocked officially. The law was passed on 22 Aug that Singapore has to have the right to sell iPhones that are not networked locked.

    Its the first time I have seen iPhones for sale in a duty free shop at an airport.

    I also saw them in Lucky Plaza, Orchard Road for S$1450 (16GB) so if you are in Singapore you can find cheaper in the city.
