I am hearing that the activation servers for Apple are DOWN at stores in the U.S.A.

From what I understand they are selling the 3G iPhone for $199 and EXPLAINING how to activate @ home with iTunes. THIS IS THE TIME TO BUY, I am @ work right now so I can't post everything, but I have a friend who already bought one without signing a contract. Go to your Apple store!

sHIT! I'm all the way up in Whiteplains! No way I can get into Manhattan in time for this. When does the Apple store close?

they will let you take the phone home for you to activate later using itunes but you need to sign the contract first at the store

lol I am not far from you at all, I go to Iona College in New Rochelle... Apparently Apple can't handle everyone. IT'S CHAOS :hack:
