Default Cannot Restore(Error 9 on iTunes) and stuck at Steve Jobs screen with a russian word

Here is the thing. Yesterday I bought and iPhone from a guy, its practially in a brand new condition, its the 3G 16gig model, however, there is a problem, and I was aware of this problem before I bought it.

The problem is that its stuck in this damn Pineapple Logo in the front screen instead of the Apple logo, and then after about 3 seconds the Pineapple logo goes away - the screen becomes black for a few seconds and then an cartoon version of steve jobs appears with both of his hands up in the sky and he is smiling and there is a damn word in russian written on top like a comic word is written with a balloon saying "helloo" or some other shit!!!
I dont know **bleep** to do I tried to put it into DFU mode and restore it to 3.1.2, 3.1.3, even 4.0 and 4.0.1, and it keeps giving me an error 9.
I uninstalled different itunes verisons 7.5, 9, and the latest 10 and then tried to restore it to firmware 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 it still gives me the damn error 9! when I try to restore it to firmware 4.0 it gives me error 3194! when I do it the different way it gives me error 1611 and 1602, but now its just constantl giving me error 9! I dont know what tha hell is going on!! I used different usb slots on my desktop{6 different usb slots!} still not working! Used my friend's laptop with 4 different usb slots! still not working! Even cleaned the inside of the dock of the iPhone from any dust and the usb cable! Still nothing!!!
What tha hell is going on????? and now, the steve jobs character wasnt appearing any more and the iPhone was constantly flashing every 20 seconds and the pineapple logo was appearing and then went blank and the screen goes completely white and kept doing the same thing over and over again and wouldnt stop!!!
Just about an hour ago I got it figured some how now and now i can see the Steve jobs character again!
When I plug it into my desktop with the usb iTunes automatically opens up and tells me that I need to restore! I can also put the iPhone into DFU mode now and the screen goes blank, and try to restore it like that but it still keeps giving me the error 9 at the end right when it says preparing iphone for restore!
PLEASE HELP OLETHROS OR ANY ONE ELSE!!!!
I KNOW THERE WAS A SIMILAR THREAD ABOUT THIS BUT I READ THE WHOLE THING 10 TIMES AND I WAS ON THE COMPUTER TODAY THE WHOLE DAY READING AND READING ON HOW TO FIX THIS DAMN ISSUE AND I CANT FIGURE WHAT ELSE I SHOULD DO!!!!!!!

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

And another thing that I forgot to mention is that when I try to restore to firmware 3.1.2/3.1.3 the screen flashes white for about 10 seconds which it wasnt doing earlier today when I started to mess with it and then the apple logo appears in the middle of the screen with the round "thinking" icon on the bottom of the screen and then the bar for the restoration progress appears where its supposed to be filled up with white completely but thats when the screen flashes in white again and then i get the error 9 message on itunes and then the screen goes blank again and the damn pineapple logo is back again following by steve jobs! but iTunes automatically keeps saying to me "your iPhone is on recovery mode" everytime i try to do this after I get the error 9 message!

I am going to take a damn brake from this until tomorrow because I was on the computer most day today so I will go to sleep now and I hope some one will reply in here and HELP ME PLEASE!

You obviously did not do much research. Othewise you would have found and followed the instructions in this thread. http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/130802.htm - it is much easier to help you if you provide a restore log (and also try everything relevant on the Apple troubleshooting page)

Error 9: This error occurs when the device unexpectedly drops off of the USB bus and communication stops. This can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB isolation troubleshooting, using a different USB dock connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.
I'm sure you already know this.

It could be that the usb interface in the iPhone is flaky, as long as you have tried different USB cables and different machines - I can't think of much else that could be wrong.

The 3194 error with 4.0 or 4.0.1 is normal.. It is caused by the new soft-shsh requirement for 4.0.x. Apple no longer issues SHSH for 4.0.1 or 4.0 You won't have that error with 4.0.2 though. I would not recommend you try 4.0.2 (except as a last resort).

The flashing white during restore is also pretty normal.

Were either of the computers you tried with a mac? Sometimes it's the only way to get the restore to succeed (to do the restore on a mac).

It wasnt a mac, it was a Pentium Desktop from 4 years ago running xp, and it was a toshiba laptop purchased in 2007, but I will have to ask some one that has an apple laptop to try to do a restore in there.
Now a question though - if I am able to get my hands on a macbook and do the restore in there - what files should I use? i.e - what version of itunes? is the latest itunes is okay? what firmware should I downgrade it? 3.1.2?3.1.3?
I believe behind all this mess the iPhone is sitting on iOS 4.0 because when I tried to jailbrake it with RedSnow 0.9.5b5-5 it asked me to load the corresponding IPSW for my current firmware - now me not knowing what firmware this iphone has - I tried all 4 Firmwares that I downloaded which were - 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0.1 and 4.0 and it only verified 4.0 successfuly and it started the whole jail braking proccess! what happened after it verified it - it actually started the whole jailbraking process "patching kernel" & "Preparing ramdisk" and then it asked me to select the options that I liked:"install cydia, vebrose boot, custom boot logo, recovery logo, enable multi-tasking, enable homescreen wallpaper and enable battery precentage, and then i clicked next all of this while the phone is off mode and then I did the whole thing of holding the power button for 3 seconds then the home button for 30 seconds and the release the power button after 10 seconds and the whole proccess began of uploading 2nd stage, uploading ramdisk and there was even a green hard-drive picture on the screen saying " downloading jail-break date" and it kept being in there for about 20 seconds and then there was a message on red-snow saying that its done and said " the rest of this proccess takes place on your device" and the phone rebooted and then the damn pineapple logo came back again following steve jobs like nothing happened....

    What tha hell???

You have to forgive me Olethros but I just tried doing the restore log on the start, the run then paste in the command line -
    PhoneUpdater XX.log and also this %AppData%\Apple Computer\iPhone Updater Logs\
both in 2 separate times - but I dont know exactly why it wont do nothing.
This is the first time I am doing it as well, so apologies on my behalf.
How exactly do I capture the restore log? what do I have to do first?

Any version of iTunes from 8.2 to 10.0 is OK to use with iOS 3.1.x
If you want to restore iOS 4.0.x you need to use iTunes 9.2 or higher

iOS 3.1.2 is the best choice to restore with.

You could have a mismatch of iOS 3.x OS and 4.x NAND due to incorrectly using the latest redsn0w beta. I can't say for sure. You still have not uploaded a single restore log - as requested.

also.. have you read the link I posted earlier? All of the error codes you have recieved have pointed to a problem with the dock connector cabloe, or your iPhone's USB circuitry. (some errors are related to the soft-shsh for iOS 4.x)

1611: may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article and also attempt to restore while connected with a known-good 30-pin Dock Connector cable, computer, and network to isolate this issue to the device. If the MAC address is missing or the IMEI is the default value (00 499901 064000 0), this can also confirm a hardware issue.
Post one or more of the restore logs from earlier so I can see how far through the process you get.

also, I noticed that when I am on itunes on recover mode and when I put it into dfu mode while i am on itunes, it says "waiting for ipod"..... and then it changes and says "waiting for iphone".... and while its doing that I also noticed when its start to prepare the iphone for restore it doesnt show any information on the iPhone tab which is:
    Name : iPhone
    Capacity : n/a
    Software Version: n/a
    Serial Number : n/a

All are n/a, while its on DFU mode and while its trying to restore it, but when its done failing to restore it it it automatically goes back to recovery mode with the pineapple logo and steve jobs it shows me on itunes the name:
    name : iPhone
    Capacity : n/a
    Software Version : n/a
but it shows me the Serial Number...
and thats weird because if the usb on the iPhone is not good....

Plenty of other people managed to follow that guide and post log files.

However, I have just tried to make the guide clearer. Read it again.

Hi Olethros! I did exactly as you said:
    1. Hold down the windows key and press R. This brings up the run program window.
    2. Paste in for example "%AppData%\Apple Computer\iPhone Updater Logs\" and click OK.
    3. The correct folder will open in windows explorer and should contain at least one log file.
    4. Look for a log file that was created around the same time your restore/update failed.

but when I paste in "%AppData%\Apple Computer\iPhone Updater Logs\" and click "ok" I get this message :

I even went to the folder options and clicked "view hidden files" and did it like that, I still get that message.

Is there a specific time frame I have to do the command "run" and paste in the code ? like right after I try to restore the iPhone and it fails? or I have to wait a couple of minutes?
