hello dudesss, how are u all, i have some technical questions regarding the iPhone 3g from australia, someone offer for me an iPhone from australia and he said that this iPhone is officially unlock from the carrier( he activate it in the store) but i went to check the carrier if they offer an unlock solution i found that it can be unlock by the carrier, well,, my questions:

1-what is the difference between iPhone officially unlock from Apple (for ex. the ITALY one) and the one who unlocked from the carrier (like australia one)?

2-i already tried the ITALY one it's perfect no problem with the update and jailbreak as you advice for me before it's directly unlocked from Apple, will i have a problem with the australia one in case of the updating or jailbreak?

3-will i lose the unlocking (the australia one) in case of the jailbreak?

1. no difference after the carrier made the unlock work, same procedure like with the ones from Italy, they are pre-unlocked

2. no problem, see above

3. no, same as above
