I know that the iPhone 3g has firmware 2.0. Now 2.0.2 is released. If I get one from USA or Canada (from Apple, ATnT, Rogers etc) which firmware will it have?
And which firmware can be jailbroken/unlocked/activated? 2.0 I guess (iphone 3g)?
I already have iPhone 1st gen fw 1.1.4.
If version 2.0 on the 3g iPhone is unlockable, please tell me.

Not sure which one will be on the iPhone. All can be jailbroken and being used as an iPod. No unlock so far.

I know that PwnageTool jailbreaks only, but how did you unlock the 3g iPhone?

It says "int. unlocked". Guess internationally. There are officially unlocked iPhones in Europe.

There is a lot of countries worldwide where the iPhone 3G has to be sold factory unlocked. Happend with the 2G in France btw. The locked ones cant be hacked=unlocked today, only be jailbroken/installer/cydia on it.Read the stickies and search the forum before posting!
