Default [Question] Can you edit the call forward option?

i have a 3G with 2.1 firmware, i would like to know if there is anything that i can do to be able to change the forwarding option on the iPhone 3G to be able to forward the calls if the call hasn't be answered for at least 6 rings. because as it is right now if you forward the call, iPhone will not ring it will just automatically forward the call to another phone. which i don't like.

theoretically you could type in code to set number of rings but it is blocked by your carrier

It depends on how you set you call divertion. You should ask your carrier what code to use to set diverting to "divert if not answered"
