Default Process manager for 2.1 firmware

    Hi guys,

I've been searching EVERYWHERE and I cannot find an answer. I want a way to see which processes are running on my phone, and kill ones I don't want running. I know sysinfo used to be able to do this pre-2.0 but is there anyway at all to achieve this in the 2.1 firmware? Thanks

You can use ps or top to see the processes, and use kill to kill them.

Thanks for your reply mojito11. I run the top command in mobileterminal and it tells me how many processes are running but it doesnt give me a list of them? And ps doesnt seem to tell me much. Could you further elaborate? Thanks for your help

I wonder if Erica will ever port UIctl for FW 2.1 : UIctl is the very best solution to see and kill any process or daemon running on the iphone. We all miss it a lot!!!!

"ps -A" (A is capital) . This will give you a list of all of the processes
