[Problem] [Solved] Cannot create new contacts in Address Book
I copied all the sqlitedb files from mobile/library/AddressBook folder from iPhone 2G, and copied to the same folder structure on my iPhone 3G after unlocking it with yellowSn0w.
I can add new numbers or email addresses to existing contacts, but when I try to create a new contact, it does not show up in the contacts list.
(note: I was using 2.2 on iphone 2G, and using the same firmware version on iPhone 3G).
Does anyone know, if table structure has changed thats causing this process to abend. What kind of permissions should I look for.
If I cannot get this to work, I will try to restore the phone and install everything from scratch.
Anything else that I can try????
finally got it to work.
Changed the permission to chmod 0777 on AddressBook folder and files under mobile/Library and root/Library
Glad you got it and thanks for the update

Can you give me the exact location of the folder?
