just find the original sim and insert in the phone and reconnect to itunes. a message should pop up on the iphone saying 'waiting for activation this may take a while' dismiss it and ignore wether the iphone is searching or it finds network. then hit the 'register later' tab that comes up on itunes and sync your phone.
if you restored your phone online using apples stock firmware then you have lost ur unlock chances for now as your baseband has deefinately been updated.
goodluck

I think your SIM is inactive and not valid this time. Contact to your service provider for details. It might can happen that you provider will fix up some settings for you to get connected.

Completely incorrect, an unlock is possible for this baseband. The problem described was a failure to hacktivate.
