wiFi not working after 3.1.3

Hi guys. I just upgraded my iPhone 3G to 3.1.3. It was jailbroken but not unlocked. However, WiFi doesnt seem to be working. It is not greyed out, I can turn it on and off, but no networks are recognised. Some times, all of usdden it picks up some networks but won't connect to them. Ive tried resetting network setttings but it wont do the trick.
What can I do?

How did you upgrade?

Clean restore to 3.1.3 and then redsn0w
