dude.. where have you been living??? have you read anything around this forum?!?! many people managed to unlock it through the hardware sim method. works perfect. i have a 3g and it works amazing with t-mobile. i can update the phone and it still works fine. i don't have to worry about any updated for quickpwn. all i use quickpwn is to jailbreak the phone and install the tzones hack ($5.99) since i am too cheap to pay for the total internet plan ($20)
u want a sim unlock card? i have an extra one. pm me and i can sell it to you if you want it.
i just saw two sticky posts on modmyphone.com forum, and this forum also that says that 3G phone has not yet been unlocked. started scratching my head after i read it. and clearly there seems to be a solution that you have discovered :)
so can you share what might be the cheapest way to snag an iphone? there appears to be reasonable confusion around that too.
re the extra unlock card. i could well buy one from you. but i need to get a phone first :)
