Factory unlocked phones are always safe to upgrade with officially released firmware.
BUt I think Beta firmwares still needs you to have your UUID registered on a developer program.

Can anyone confirm that offially Unlocked phones (those that are unlocked from iTunes) will unlock also with the new beta baseband, given that it's registered as a developer phone?Quote:
