The ugliest, worst day on iPhone!!
:( My 16GB white iPhone was working perfectly, flawslesly. It had Universal-Sim and Pwnage to 2.0.2 firmware. The phone was great, recognizing my network, all the other features perfect.
And today I made one of the hugest mistake of my life, I restored my phone to 2.1 update.
After the restore iTunes tells me that my Simcard is not recognized and to insert a valid Simcard. So when I try to open the Simcard tray to change the Simcard for the AT&T one, I can only realize that the tray is stuck with Universal-Sim on it.
I try to open the tray dozens, if not hundreds of times. I try to use a paperclip, a piece of hard paper, I try to pull it slowly, not so slowly. And then after hours I realize it's impossible to open the tray. So as we don't have Apple service in my country I take it to a Cellphone repair and he opens it (leaving a little scratch on the case) and takes out the stuck Universal-SIM + my Simcard.
Then I go home, and I try to open the empty Simtray but nothing happens, so I think I broke the Simtray button after trying so many times to open it.
I only want to cry now as I loved this 2 weeks old phone, this is a nightmare that I can't believe.
Now it's impossible to open the Simtray, it has to be done manually or by putting some kind of adhesive in the tray and then pulling. I don't have cellphone signal and don't have a backup cellphone. So I'm out of communications.
And I'm so so, sorry for what I've done, I feel so guilty. I just don't wanna see this phone, not in this way. If at least I could downgrade it to 2.0.2 back again to use the phone function, butI guess that's not possible
I don't know what am I going to do, where can I sell this phone, if they will buy it on eBay (after the price I paid of 700$).
Thanks for reading my story
