tethered data plans

I see in Ontario Canada Wind Mobile is offering unlimited data for smart phones for 35 dollars. My question is can I tether it to my laptop and use the iphone data plan for Internet on my laptop? Any questions, comments, etc. would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you apply the tethering patches on OS 3.1.2 or you are still running OS 3.0.x yes you can do this.

You may be violating the terms of your mobile plan contract though. I would suggest you read them carefully and make a considered decision.
