[Question] [Solved] Orange Setting 3G

Hi
I have a 3G on 2.1 firmware and am on Orange. I have a data plan that seems to work ok on orange with my normal phone (Nokia N82)but when I put the sim into my iphone with a sim solution it will not connect to the data plan error message is "Could not activate cellular data network: You are not subscribed to a cellular data service". I am subscribed to an Orange Data plan. Is there some sort of settings I have to put into the phone. I have the 3G icon up on the phone and think all switched on. Any help please.

APN Settings

Setting / General / Network / Cellular Data Network /

APN orangeinternet
Username Blank Nothing No Entry
Password Blank Nothing No Entry

Many thanks all sorted but did not have to put anything in Username or password. Made 3 calls to Orange 1st and 2nd said it could not be done 3rd person i spoke to a lady told me the settings I told her that i had already spoke to them and they said it would not work she said go and try it it WILL work and it does.

hi mate, did you purchase a i-smartphone sim off me? Westoils, I remember shipping to?

This is interesting. I had the same problem before and it took me a lot of hassles to get it done, as I don't speak French. Here's my setting :

Setting / General / Network / Cellular Data Network /

APN: orange
Username : orange
Password : orange

The other 2 settings DO NOT work for me. I suspect its because Orange provide different package and each has different setting. My package is 'internet max' which is unlimited data services for EUR9/month, deduct automatically from my mobicarte balance. Please don't ask me why Orange make things so complicated for everybody, I want to know the answer too.

FYI my friend's original Orange iPhone has NO Cellular Data Network setting at all!!! I guess It's pre-configured.

i have tried all these and not working. i have unlocked onto orange. what other apn, usernames, passwords could i try
