Hi all, I just heard that the Dev Team is coming close to getting the iPhone 3G unlocked, but I haven't been following all the releases of iPhone's firmware, and the pwnage or quickpwn tools releases...
so if I buy the iPhone 3G tomorrow (Oct. 29th) and if the Dev team comes up with the unlock anytime soon, will I be able to unlock my phone? Or will it have a newer firmware on which the devs would have to work a little more?

As of right now, all we can do is guess. No one is going to know until the unlock is released.
true, but I just want to know if I am able to at least jailbrake the latest firmware of the iPhone 3g..
