Question about the front mask on iPhone 3G???

I have an iPhone 3G and the home button is a litle bit to hard to push....i would like to know if i change the front mask with the home button will that change the situation??? because i must push the home button hard and four or more times to get back on the home screen....it is very anoying....please help is that a hardwer problem or something else???

sounds like the button has had it, change the button flex, and re gule the front screen, also it could be missing the spacer in beween the home button and the flex button
