hi all... i tried upgrading to 3.1.2 but i got the following msg... all your help and suggestions are greatly appreciated... Thank you!!!

just find the original sim and insert in the phone and reconnect to itunes. a message should pop up on the iphone saying 'waiting for activation this may take a while' dismiss it and ignore wether the iphone is searching or it finds network. then hit the 'register later' tab that comes up on itunes and sync your phone.Quote:

I think your SIM is inactive and not valid this time. Contact to your service provider for details. It might can happen that you provider will fix up some settings for you to get connected.
