Jailbroken iPhone won't turn on - Please help!
Hi folks. I'm hoping someone here can help me.
Firstly my iPhone is jailbroken and unlocked since last year when i bought it. It was locked to O2 and i'm on Vodafone so it needed to be jailbroken and unlocked so i could use it. I can't quite remember what i used to jailbreak it. Possibly quickpwn but i've no idea what i unlocked it with. The phone won't turn on so i can't find anymore info.
Yesterday i plugged it into my macbook to charge it and it stayed at 1% charge the whole time. Then Rock app tried to update firmware and the install failed.
I thought nothing of it. Went to bed and charged the phone from the wall socket. Got up this morning and it was still sitting at 1% charge so i turned it off and on again only it didn't turn on again. The pinapple logo appeared for a while then the screen just flashes and turns off completely.
Tried connecting to iTunes and it done fuck all for it. I think i tried entering recovery mode by holding in the on/off and home buttons and a wee dude with glasses appears saying "ПPEBEД" which i think means "surprise".
I can restore the phone to factory settings in iTunes but i think i'll lose everything. I'm not sure if i've a backup but doesn't iTunes automatically do a back up when you sync?
Any ideas here people? Really hope someone can help because i really need my phone to work.
