I found a bunch of questions about this but not 100% of what im looking for, I DLed the 3.1.2 file and trying to install it on a ATnT phone, where is the IPSW file in the ZIP ?

You restore the IPSW via iTunes (on windows, shift-click restore in iTunes)
The iPhone must have been jailbroken previously. Otherwise the restore will NOT be successful.
